Low stock alert

The Low stock alert automation warns shoppers when a wishlisted product's inventory is running low.

Use it to create urgency for products shoppers already saved.

Open it from Emails > Automations > Low stock alert.

How the flow works

The low stock alert flow has two nodes:

  • Trigger: when a wishlisted product's stock is at or below your selected threshold.
  • Send email: sends the low stock alert email.

Click a node to open its settings sheet.

Configure the trigger

Open the Trigger node to set the stock threshold.

Use Send events when a wishlisted product's stock is at or below to choose the inventory level that should trigger the alert.

For example, if the threshold is 10 units, the alert can trigger when stock is 10 units or lower.

A lower threshold sends the message closer to selling out. A higher threshold gives shoppers an earlier warning.

Configure the email

Open the Send email node to configure:

  • Subject line
  • Preview text
  • Sender name
  • Sender email address
  • Reply-to, Cc, and Bcc
  • Email template

The Subject line is required. The Sender email address is read-only in this screen; if you want to change it or send from your brand email, contact us through chat.

Reply-to, Cc, and Bcc are optional.

Choose a template

A low stock alert needs an email template before it can send a useful message.

You can choose a saved template or start from a library template, then edit it in the email editor.

Use a template that makes the low stock message clear and gives shoppers a direct path back to the product page.

For more about template editing, see Email templates.

Enable the automation

After the trigger and email content are ready, click Enable on the low stock alert page.

You can review sent low stock emails in Email history.
