Price drop alert
The Price drop alert automation notifies shoppers when a wishlisted product's price drops.
Use it to recover shoppers who may be waiting for a better price before buying.
How the flow works
Open Emails > Automations > Price drop alert.
The page shows a flow with two nodes:
- Trigger: when a wishlisted product's price drops by your selected threshold.
- Send email: sends the price drop alert email.
Click a node to open its settings sheet.
Configure the trigger
Open the Trigger node to set the price drop threshold.
The trigger setting is:
- Send event when price drops by: the minimum price drop percentage required before an email can be triggered.
For example, if the threshold is set to 10%, the alert only triggers when the product price drops by at least 10%.
Use a lower threshold if you want shoppers to hear about smaller price changes. Use a higher threshold if you only want to send alerts for more meaningful discounts.
Configure the email
Open the Send email node to configure:
- Subject line
- Preview text
- Sender name
- Sender email address
- Reply-to email address
- Cc email address
- Bcc email address
- Email template
The Subject line is required.
The Sender email address is read-only. If you want to change the sender email or send from your brand email address, contact us through chat in the app.
Reply-to, Cc, and Bcc are optional.
Choose a template
Price drop alert emails need an email template.
From the Send email node, choose a saved template or browse the template library. You can edit templates in the email editor.
Use a template that clearly shows the saved product and the new price.
For broader template management, see Email templates.
Enable the automation
After the trigger, subject, sender, and template are ready, click Enable on the price drop alert page.
You can review sent price drop emails in Email history.
