Manual sends

Use Manual sends to create a one-time email campaign for selected wishlist customers.

Manual sends are useful when you want to contact a specific group of shoppers without changing your automated email flows.

Create a manual send

  1. Open Emails > Manual sends.
  2. Click Create manual send.
  3. Enter a campaign name.
  4. Configure the campaign steps.
  5. Review the campaign, then send or schedule it.

Manual send steps

A manual send is built from four steps:

  • Recipients: choose the wishlist customers who should receive the email.
  • Email content: configure the subject, sender, and email template.
  • Send time: send now or schedule for later.
  • Review and send: review the campaign before sending.

Click a step to open its settings.

Recipients

Use Recipients to choose the customers who should receive the campaign.

The customer picker only shows customers who have an email address and at least one wishlist item.

You can narrow the customer list by:

  • Customer last activity: for example today, yesterday, last 7 days, last 30 days, or any time.
  • Product: find shoppers who saved specific products.

After adding a customer, you can send the email based on all of that customer's wishlist items or selected wishlist items only.

Manual sends are capped at 100 selected customers per campaign.

Email content

Use Email content to configure the message shoppers will receive.

You can set:

  • Subject line
  • Preview text
  • Sender name
  • Sender email address
  • Reply-to, Cc, and Bcc
  • Email template

The Subject line and Email template are required before the campaign can be sent.

You can choose a template, edit it in the email editor, preview the email, and send a test email before the final send.

The Sender email address is read-only in this screen; if you want to change it or send from your brand email, contact us through chat.

Send time

Use Send time to decide when the campaign should be delivered.

You can choose:

  • Send now: start sending immediately.
  • Schedule: choose a future date and time.

For scheduled sends, you can use a fixed send time or a gradual send over several hours. Fixed sends can use the recipient's local timezone, your shop timezone, or another selected timezone.

Review and send

Use Review and send to check the campaign before it goes out.

The review step checks the main requirements:

  • At least one recipient is selected.
  • The subject line is filled in.
  • An email template is selected.
  • The email template includes an unsubscribe link.
  • The send time is valid.
  • Your email quota can cover the selected recipients.

When everything is ready, you can click Send email or Schedule email.

Review performance

After a manual send starts, its detail page shows performance such as sent emails, open rate, click rate, failed or skipped emails, and the email content used for the send.

The Sent emails tab shows each recipient email with its current status and a link to the email detail page.

You can also inspect individual sent emails from Email history.
