Report emails

Report emails send a recurring summary of new wishlist activity to you or your team.

Use them when you want a regular view of wishlist growth without opening each report in TValue: Wishlist. These are merchant reports; they are not sent to shoppers and do not use your shopper email quota or automation templates.

Choose where reports are sent

Open Settings > Report emails, then turn on Enable report emails.

By default, the report is sent to the email address associated with your store. Choose Use alternative email when another person or inbox should receive it instead.

Only one recipient address is configured for the recurring report.

Set the reporting schedule

Choose how often the report should be delivered:

  • Every 3 days
  • Every 7 days
  • Every 15 days
  • Every 30 days

Then select the Send time and Timezone. Together, these settings determine when one reporting period ends and the next report is prepared.

Each email includes the date range covered by that report. The metrics count activity inside that range, so a 7-day schedule summarizes the period since the previous scheduled report rather than a lifetime total.

If you change the frequency, send time, or timezone while reports are enabled, TValue recalculates the next send from the time you save the new schedule.

Choose the metrics in the email

Select one or more metrics:

MetricWhat the report counts during the reporting period
New wishlist itemsWishlist items added during the report date range.
New customers with wishlistCustomers whose first recorded wishlist item was added during the date range.
New wishlist activitiesRecorded wishlist actions during the date range, such as adding or removing an item, opening the wishlist, moving an item to cart, or completing an attributed checkout.

These are period totals, not the current totals shown across all time in the Reports area. For example, New wishlist items in a report answers how many items were added during that period, while Wishlists lets you inspect current saved items individually.

At least one metric must be selected while report emails are enabled. If you remove every metric, TValue asks whether you want to disable report emails.

Open the detailed reports

Use the report email as a summary, then open TValue when you need the underlying customers, products, and events.
